Sailing Lessons Carolina Learn Sail

There's no better time to learn to sail than now. And doing so doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. There's always more to learn, and more adventure in the learning.

To get you started, or to raise your game, we can link you to pretty much all the sailing schools, via the umbrella organizations that sanction them.

If you've never sailed, have limited sailing experience or haven't sailed in a years, a basic sailing course would give you the skills and confidence to take the helm. Once the sailing bug bites, it's going to itch forever.

For a quick evaluation of a nightime crossing situation, note the position of the vessel being observed in relation to a star.

If the star and the vessel remain in the same relative position for several minutes, that signals that a constant bearing exists and you should start to make plans accordingly.

Hands-on experience is the best way to learn to sail. These lessons are not designed to substitute for a US SAILING certification course or on-the-water training by a sailing, windsurfing or powerboat instructor, but may be used as one of the tools in preparation for taking a certified course or in continuing your sailing and powerboat education.
